Brassinolide

Brassinolide
Brassinosteroids were first isolated from pollen grain of rape flowers (Brassica sp). It has the following features:
  • Chemical Name: 2a, 22R – Tetrahydroxy-24S-cymene-b-7 oxygen-5a gallbladder – 6 – ketone. Brassinositiod : It is plant steroid
  • Molecular weight: 494
  • Solubility: Isopropyle alcohol, Methanol, chloroform and acetone
  • Non toxic: It is safe to human, birds and fish
What is Brassinolide ?
  • A new 6th generation plant growth harmon after Auxines, Gibberellins, Cytokinins, Ascissic acid, Ethylene.
  • It is polyhydroxy steroid.
  • It interact with GA in cell wall elongation.
  • It works independently to increase cell division.
  • It shows synergetic effect with many plant growth regulators.
  • It is effective at very low concentration say PPB (Parts per billion)

Cytokinins

Cytokinins
Cytokinins are also known as plant harmones because they stimulate cell division (i.e cytokinesis). Benzylaminopurine is an important cytokinin that stimulate a wide array of plant growth benefits: cell division, more side branches, basal shoot formation, bigger flowers and fruit set. 6-Benzylaminopurine also inhibits senescence (slow down ageing process)

Zeatin (Z), which was first isolated from maize (Zea mays) is the most common cytokinin. There are several other substances with cytokinin activity such as benzyl adenine(BA).

It is found that an application of 40-100 PPM of Benzylaminopurine was most effective in delaying plant senescense (death & ageing). It concluded that plant tissue death was reduced by about half. The exact mechanism by which this occurs is unclear but likely involves the ability of cytokinins to mobilize nutrients.
  • Promotes the light-induced formation of chlorophyll and conversion of etioplasts to chloroplasts (greening process)
  • Promote lateral bud, flowering & branching development

  • It causes the plant to branch out simmiliar by cutting the end of the branch without the damage that pruning would cause
  • If a branch is pruned, 6-Benzylaminopurine will generate more branches than pruning alone
  • Test of Anthurium plants, Ethephon, PBA and BA showed that the best results were 1000 PPM 6-Benzylaminopurine
  • Benzylaminopurine treated plants averaged 6 lateral shoots while untreated plants at 2.At the same time plant height was unaffected
  • More number of applications with the higher concentration
  • Benzylaminopurine used to generate bigger flowers and better fruits
Dose: 10-40 ppm. is recomended. Formulation of 1% ( 10 gm/lt) is recommended @ 1ml/lt water.





PGR Combi

Different Plant Growth Regulators have different roles to play in crops. Many of them competable to each other even some are having synergistic effect and they enhance the effect of each other. We have successfully developed a best combination and tested last many years in different crops and found very effective cost benefit ratio.

ATCA (Acetyl thiozalide-4-carboxylic acid), + Ctyokine + Auxine. Considering properties componants of this combination following benefits are found in many crops.

  • Flower initiation by Auxine and ATCA provide bud differentiation.

We have taken at most care to formulate this combination in totally sterile buffer solution to provide maximum storage life 4-5 years. High quality preservatives and Anti oxidants are used to avoid fermentation and oxidation. Best of emulsifier is used to give uniform miscibility.

Suggested Crops: Cotton, Chilies, Grapes, Pomegranate, Flower crops, Jasmine, Roses, Vegetables (Tomato, Peas, Capsicum, Cabbage, Cauliflower, etc), Cucubits, Soybean, Groundnut, Gram, Paddy, Wheat.

Dose: General dose you should recommend is 0.5 ml in 1 Ltr water or 50 ml in 100 Ltr or 100 ml in 200 Ltr per acre.





Rooting Powder

Rooting Powder is powder formulation, having proper blend of root promoting hormones like:

Indole butric acid IBA: Is needed for breaking dormancy of rooting bud It initiate rooting.

Alpha Naphthalene Acetic acid: IAA For rooting and flower induction

BAP- Benzyl Amino Purine. 6-BA. It is Cytokine. Used for better cell division to improve crop productivity.

Rooting powder brands are available Rootone /Seradix/Keradix/ Rootex: Used for better root formation in cuttings. Nursery mans tool for propagation. Generally 500-1500 ppm powder / solution is recommended. Dip lower ½ inch to 1 inch of cutting in powder and remove excess powder and plant cutting in rooting media soil.





Folic Acid

Folic Acid
Folic acid is widespread in the food supply, with the highest concentrations in liver, yeast, leafy vegetables, fruits, and legumes. It is now also fortified in grain products (breads, cereals, spaghetti) within the United States, where fortified foods deliver approximately 140 micrograms of folate per 100 grams of food. It is easily destroyed through common household food preparation techniques and long storage times, so it is often most highly concentrated in fresh foods. Folate functions in amino acid metabolism and nucleic acid synthesis (RNA and DNA), and a deficiency leads to alterations in protein synthesis.Tissues with a rapid turnover are particularly sensitive to folic acid, including red and white blood cells as well as tissues of the gastrointestinal tract and the uterus. Adequate folate intake immediately before and during reproductive phase is associated with the elimination of fetal defects.

Folic acid is measured in dietary folate equivalents (DFE), where 1 DFE equals:
  • 1 microgram of food folate
  • 6 micrograms of folate from fortified food or as a supplement consumed with food
  • 5 micrograms of a folate supplement consumed on an empty stomach
Because folate functions with vitamin B12 in forming healthy new red blood cells, a deficiency leads to megaloblastic anemia. Other deficiency problems include gastrointestinal distress (diarrhea, malabsorption, pain) and a swollen, red tongue. Folate toxicity from excess intake has not been reported in humans, and no studies have reported on the relationship between folic acid and athletic performance. However, since athletes have an above-normal tissue turnover because of the pounding the body takes in various sports, and with the evidence that red blood cell turnover is faster in athletes than in nonathletesthere is good reason for athletes to be certain that adequate folic acid intake is satisfied. The best approach is through the regular consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables. If this is not possible, a daily supplement at the level of the DRI (400 micrograms per day) is an effective means of maintaining folate status.

Mechanism & Mode of Action:
It acts as a contact and stomach poison which paralysis nerve center of insects, solidifies the albumen & stops up the air vent of insects body & finally makes the insect die of suffocation. It suppresses food absorption, reduces larval ability & hinders its growth to prevent insects from laying eggs. After application insects will stop eating & not damage the crop further. The insect dies after 24-28 hours.
